Introduction to Ephesians Truth - Part I
To the Saints And to the Faithful

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus...  Ephesians 1:1

Ephesians stands near the summit of revealed truth for the Church of the last days. To be without its understanding could lead to failure in the time of trouble about which we learn, for instance, in Daniel 12:1. He said, There shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation. There is a very close relationship between the prophetic Word in the last six chapters of Daniel and Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians. I’ve come to call Ephesians “a glove for Daniel’s hand.” We will address this later on in this series when we consider The Ephesians Connection.

We are also about to learn of the fierce conflict that may soon become evident as the forces of evil who oppose Christ’s Government in the earth turn more of their hostility toward us. We are learning that the Lord God, the Father of our Lord Jesus, has given Him the nations for His inheritance. We will also learn that it is given us to join with Him in resisting the advance of the forces opposing His rule in all the earth.

It is in Ephesians we begin learning more of the eternal Throne of the Kingdom of Heaven. Here we begin learning of the mystery of the heavenly world where Christ has dwelt in everlasting union with His Father. From thence He came to redeem us from our bondage to sin, the devil and this world, and to bring us into union with Himself. Our Heavenly Father is bringing us onward to rule with His only begotten Son in the effective operation of His Government on earth.

DEAR FATHER, please bring me under the rule of Your Spirit. Conquer me so that I might move in unity with these with whom I’m to enter the battle against one common enemy. Teach us to abide in love among ourselves, so we can go forth united against the principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world and the wicked spirits who come at us from the heavenlies.

Oh, DEAR FATHER, keep us in love one with the other! Give us discernment against the spirits that try to move among us to turn us one against the other. In the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
