The "prayer starters" for this month don't immediately seem to relate to the discipline of intercession prayer taken from Colossians 1. But, if we are to be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, we must come to the place of knowing that the Covenant under which we now live is in fulfillment of what Holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit, and recorded for us in the Old Testament. It is this to which the Epistle to the Hebrews leads us.

We ...do not cease to pray for you, and to desire
...THAT ye might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding...
Colossians 1:9

DEAR FATHER,
Bring forth in these ones I hold before You the clear knowledge
of what you want to do in them.  
Send Your Spirit to renew their minds so they can understand
the out-workings of your will.  
Give them the wisdom to relate properly to their families,
their business, and their responsibility to others
as they walk in Your will.
Lord teach us to pray,
“Not our will but yours be done.
